GT Voice a new network for individuals and
organisations with an interest in gifted and talented education in the UK, launching this March.Matt Lent, Managing Director of the Gifted Students Academy, has been a member of the steering group with fellow interested parties tasked with setting up GT Voice, an independent, not funded by central government, non-profit making network.
Some of the other organisations involved include Mensa, London Gifted and Talented, The National Association for Gifted Children, The Potential Trust and the Villiers Park Educational Trust.
Initially GT Voice will be inviting individuals and organisations to sign up to the principles of the GT Voice Charter 2011. The Charter highlights a series of shared objective such as the belief that the potential of Gifted & Talented learners must be positively encouraged and effective G&T education will make a valuable contribution to the overall quality of our education system.
