Goals and Me
This Year 9 and 10 workshop consists of a 2 day training event and a 1 day follow-up day.
Over the course of these 3 days students will:
- Consider their self-identity and brand
- Develop self confidence
- Set clear goals
- Create an awareness of how they are perceived and how they interact with their environment and others
- Develop their self-awareness, including learning style preferences and personality types
- Be introduced to and apply models for achieving their goals
- Learn and practice visualisation techniques
- Create individual 'Personal Development Plans'
- Explore effective communication skills and working well in teams
- Develop project and time line management skills
To benefit from participating in this project you will need to be able to accomodate, on your premises, 3 days of workshop delivery (a 2-day workshop, with a 1-day follow up a minimum of 3 weeks later), take part in an evaluation process and provide 20 - 25 students.
You will experience the full workshop delivery, plus have access to ongoing support and guidance via e-mail and telephone.
The GSA networking website will become available later in the year which will also be made available for all participanting students and staff.
Fee: This programme is £100 per student for 20 - 25 participants. This can be made up from cluster schools working in partnership.
